Sydney & Landen

Today we went to the Dr. Sydney had her two month appointment and Landen finally got his late 15 month appointment done.

Sydney has grown SO SO much since she was born. She can no longer wear her 0-3 months clothes because they are too short on her and some are too tight and some of her 3-6 are too short on her also. She is going to be so tall. Hopefully she won't be taller than Landen. She is now 23 1/2 inches tall, putting her in the 90th percentile. And she now weighs 12.8 pounds, 95th percetile. WOW!!!! I have a chunkers on my hands. Landen was never even close to the 90 percentiles. He was always in the 50th. Her head is at least average, 15cm, 49th percentile. I have decided to only get half of her shots at a time. Four is just too many for a little baby to handle. So we will be going to the Dr. office every month for the next three months. No fun, but oh well. Sydney is such a great sleeper compared to Landen. She will sleep for six hours at night on most nights. YEAH!!!! She is smiling so much and is already a typical girl. Loves to talk. She is so social. She will smile at you and when you talk to her, she tries to talk back. It is so dang adorable. I love it when she makes little coo's and talks to me. When she wakes up in the morning, she is all smiles. I love her smiles. What a great start to each new day.

This is a picture of Landen after I cut all of his hair off. Now I miss his longer hair. I think I will let it grow out a little bit longer, but probably not as long as it was even if I did like it. Landen also had a Dr. appointment today. He weighs in at 23.6 pounds, which is only in the 30th percentile. He is 35 inches tall, 90th percentile. He deffinately gets his height from his Dad. Head circumference is 19, 75th percentile. He is my little tuff guy. He is starting to say a few more words. He says HOT, DOG, GO, Dad, Mum. He is signing MORE, FOOD and loves to nod his head YES or NO when we ask him questions. MORE has also become his sign for MILK. That one word I have tried to teach him, but he just won't do it. I think he would sign more words, but I haven't really been very consistent with it. I should teach him more signs right now because he seems to be really receptive to it and wants to learn how to sign so he can communicate better with me. At church, when the chorister is leading the music, he waves his arm around trying to copy her. So adorable. He loves to go to nursery as long as I am with him. Once he notices I am gone, the tears start to flow and the lungs start to scream. I just have to give it time and hope he will last through all of nursery without needing me. He is such a great older brother. He is so good to her and is always trying to give her hugs or kiss her. He loves to hold her hand and put it up to his face. It's so cute.
What can I say, I have the two most adorable kids on the whole earth.

WOW!! You sign with your kids?? That is great!! I wish that I could do that. I don't even know it myself. I think I am going to have to take a signing class though, so atleast I will know it. I think that is really cool. How did the blessing go??

Are you teaching them sign language? There is a really cool series of dvd's called signing time. I love them and Ethan did too! He did a lot of them but I stopped them because I felt it was keeping him from talking! You do have very cute kids, Sydney is sooo stinking cute and I would never of guessed that she was in the 90%. My Landen has been consistent with 97% for both...yikes. When they stay that big it is tough to find clothes for them:). Anyway, very cute I enjoyed reading up on them:)!
