Recent happenings

I have been trying to catch up for journaling reasons, so a lot of my posts are back dated.  I need to try to write current things also so I can remember the more detailed things, such as silly things my kids say.

School is over. Yay!!! I can't believe I will have a first grader and a kindergartner in a few months.  Kinda sad.  However, Landen has been fighting with the other kids constantly now.  The day after school was over they two older ones fought all day.  I was thinking if this is how it's going to be all summer, then send my child back to school.  Luckily, that weekend we had friends come into town.  Mindy and Jason and their kids.  We went to Makutus Island.  It was SO much fun.  It is expensive, but when you consider the fun you get and a meal, then it really isn't that bad.  It was so much fun there, that even the husbands were having a blast.  It is deffinatly a place for the whole family, not just for kids.
That following week, we did our annual Santo Tomas trip to the beach.  We went two weeks earlier than we usually go and it was PERFECT!!  It wasn't near as hot and the water was fabulous.  The waves weren't strong and the high tide wasn't really that deep.  Our last day playing, Sydney wouldn't get out of the water.  She was probably the last one to get out.  She loved it so much.  Landen loved it also.  But not Josiah.  He would get his feet wet, but that was it.  He would cry and scream if Byron or I took him deeper.  I put Colter on the beach at the edge of the water and he loved it.  He kept splashing the water with his hands.  So cute!
Yesterday, Colter had a check up appointment from his surgery back in April. He had Hypospadias and a Cordia repair.   Everything looks great.  He has a little bit of extra foreskin, but the Dr. said he should grow into it.  Hopefully.  Poor boy, to have to have surgery on his manhood parts.  On our way back home, we stopped at the San Tan Mall splash pad.  Sydney and Landen had a blast.  Josiah had to be pushed into the water by his big brother.  It was SO HOT there.  I wish I could have played in the water also.  Remind me to never leave my house again after 1 pm.  It is way too hot.  Its a good thing I don't mind being a home body, cause I hate going places when it is so HOT.  However, to keep us sane this summer, Im going to try to do some kind of water activity with the kids at least once a week.  However, they can run in the sprinklers any time they want at the house.

Well thats all for now.  Ill try to post pics tomorrow night.  Im not very good at blogging anymore, but like I said, I need to get caught up for my journaling purposes.
