Day at the Park!!!

Last Friday, my sister Sherry and I went to the park. We made a day out of it and I know the kids had a blast. We started out with a picnic on the lawn. Then we fed the ducks our left over sandwiches. It's so funny. Byron must really be rubbing off on me. You see he is extremely cautious about things that involve the kids, so when my kids were next to the pond I was SO SO nervous. I was afraid they would get too close to the ledge and fall in. (that's one of my fears; is one of my kids drowning and I wouldn't be able to save them cause I can't swim under water. It's one of my phobias) So anyways, needless to say we didn't feed the ducks for very long. At the park, there is a little train and some activities for the kids to do. So we rode the train and the carousel. The kids really didn't like the carousel once it got going. But they sure did love the train. As soon as we sat down and stared going, Landen was saying, choo choo, choo choo. He LOVES trains. It was so cute. Too bad the train ride isn't a little longer. After the train ride, we went to the play ground. My kids surprisingly left my side to go play on the slide. I had also brought some buckets with shovels and they loved playing in the sand. Overall, it was a fun day for us and our kids. I need to get my kids out more to do more fun stuff like that.

Shauna's Wedding!!!!

This past weekend, my baby sister Shauna got married to Garet Flake. She looked so pretty and I am so excited for them both.
