Fun in the snow

It snowed a little bit before we left Show Low on Thursday so we took a few pictures.

I'm a big boy!

Look at me! I can sit on the stairs all by my self!

Mom! Take it out of the box!

Landen opening presents!!

Here is Landen opening one of his presents. He liked his new toy, but he enjoyed the wrapping paper better.

Merry Christmas!

Well, I am a little late posting this but oh well. Byron and I spent Christmas with my family this year. It was lots of fun. All of my family was there this year. So that was nice and fun. Christmas Eve all of my family gets together to party. We always have either pizza or subs, but this year we had pizza and soup. Then we read Luke 2 while the neices and nephews acted it out. Then we opened up one present. We draw names in our family so that is the present we open. Christmas night was awful for me. Landen has been sick with a stuffy nose so he was up all night complaining. So I was the last to get up Christmas morning 9 o'clock. We ate our traditional breakfast - hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, orange juice (except some of us put all of that together in a tortilla with chesse and salsa.) Then we opened up presents. Then for dinner we had potatoes with cornflakes, turkey, ham, and corn. Yummy. Later that evening Anthon and Ashleigh had to leave and sadly Byron also left. Landen and I stayed until Thursday. And of course, the day we left, it snowed. So we didn't get to play in it.

Well that last post was supposed to be on my mom's blog. Some how it got messed up.

Well Shannon helped me get this started. For some reason my computer won't let me post pictures. So we will have to figure that out sometime. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. All of my kids were here for Christmas this year. It was really nice and fun. We had our traditional pizza on Christmas Eve, but no three foot subs this year, we had soup instead. Since it was Sunday we didn't order our pizza we bought them frozen from Safeway. On Christmas Day we didn't open presents until probably 11. We all got up late and ate our traditional eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns for breakfast. I hope you all had a nice Christmas!

CRANKY BABY!!!

How I hate Dr. visits for Landen. He has been so whinney. He gets shots and then is so cranky for a few days. I don't blame the poor guy. I would be cranky too if I got two shots in each leg. My legs would be sore too. The only good thing about it is that he sleeps longer. So I can relax (clean my house) or like I did yesterday take a nap. I haven't had a nap since he was probably a month old. He is now four months old. How the time sure has gone by. My little chunker weighs 15 pounds 5 ounces now and he is 25 1/4 inches long. His personality is getting to be so fun. He sure does let me know what he wants or doesn't want. He continues to adore his daddy more than mommy. When daddy is around, mommy doesn't exist except when it is time to eat. We sure do love him. It is amazing how a baby can change your whole life around. We love him to pieces.

Evan update

The latest on Evan is good news. He will hopefully get to come home on Thursday. He is eating now, Allison is able to breastfeed him. He has to slowly be weaned from his sedative. I guess babies get addicted to it and have to be slowly weaned from it. He is breathing a little bit on his own, but more than likely will have to come home with an oxygen tank. But at least he will get to come home. The kids (and Gerald) miss Allison a lot. She came home Friday night and left again Sunday morning. Poor Halee keeps saying I miss mommy. So thank you everyone for fasting for him and for the continued prayers.

FAST FOR EVAN

Hi everyone! I am asking everyone, if you can, to please have a special fast for Gerald and Allison's baby on Sunday. He has pnuemonia in his lungs and is still having difficulty breathing on his own. The poor baby has to be kept sedated because everytime he wakes up, he freaks out because he has so many tubes down him. Also pray and fast for Gerald and Allison to be comforted during this time. They need all the prayers they can get. Thank you.
