The reason I have been so busy lately.....

So I have been really busy these past couple of months. I decided to try to do a preschool this year. Of course I procrastinated in getting my preschool room ready so that meant that pretty much all of August I wasn't allowed to go anywhere to play, just ask my sisters Sherry and Shauna. I had to turn them down on several occasions to hanging out with them. I used my spare room and transformed it into a preschool classroom. I had to take out my book shelf and put it in my over crowded bedroom. Then I took out our guest bed and stuffed it into the garage. Sorry Mom and Dad, guess you'll have to stay at Sherry's or Anthon's for now on. I then painted the room. Here are a few pics of how it turned out.

For this wall, I painted all the shapes. There are more shapes on the bottom, but I didn't take a pic of those. That part took me the longest to do, but I am happy with the way it all turned out.

Preschool has been fun and a lot of work too. The first week I was thinking "what in the world did I get myself into." But it's easier now and as long as I follow my lesson plans, everything works out just fine. So there you go.

Your preschool room looks fun! So how is your preschool going? How many kids do you have? You're so brave! I don't think I have the patience to be a teacher.

Shannon, I'm so happy that you got your preschool up and running. I was gonna do one, but then we moved to Washington during the summer and so had to send all my preschool kids away. I was sad--but I'm hoping to get a preschool going here! By the way, Cute, cute room!--Heahter
