SINGLETON FAMILY: March Madness

I started babysitting this month. My cousin Jaida knows the mom and she needed someone temporarily. She is going to substitute at the school for a teacher that is going to have a baby soon. I watch her three boys on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Porter is 6, Drew is 4 and Wyatt is 2. So basically her 3 kids are the same age as my three kids. I have a 6 year old, a 5 year old, two 4 year olds, a 2 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. Oh and I'm 5 months pregnant. HA HA! What was I thinking. I have all three of them in the mornings, and then after lunch I take Porter to school. Landen goes to preschool everyday and Sydney only goes to preschool on Tuesday and Thursday. So at least Drew will have Sydney to play with on Monday and Wednesday. However, Wednesdays are busy. Right after I pick up Landen from preschool, we rush home; he gets out and Sydney and Porter get in. I have to take Sydney to dance practice. Luckily, Kaylyn is home so she can watch the other kids. Straight from dance practice, we drop Porter off at Kindergarten. WHEW!! What a day! The mom comes and picks up the other 2 boys around 4 or 430. Plus, Drew is quite a handful sometimes. He won't listen to me and he back talks like crazy. So we have had quite a few time outs around here.
For spring break, we didn't do much of anything, except stop running around everyday to and from preschool and dance.
For Kaylyn's birthday, Wes and Wendy came up for the weekend. (for a little epilogue - Kaylyn met a guy named Logan Brewer. They dated maybe 2 times and then said they were engaged. started the wedding plans, then Logan started acting weird and then they went to Phx together on a trip and met Wes and Wendy and anyways, Logan was acting weird. So for her birthday, he takes her out on a nice date, he gives her lots of presents and then Friday we had a little party for her. We had cake at my house so she invited a few friends. Then she ends up breaking up with Logan that night. So weird. Anyways, I still don't get all the things that went on, but it's over now. So she is heartbroken even though she was the one to break up with him. So Wes and Wendy came up here for Kaylyn, and then she leaves and goes to hang out with her friends and what a nice weekend. Hey, at least the kids and Byron and I enjoyed their company!
The end of this month, and beginning of April was General Conference. I always love General Conference. The spirit is always so strong and I LOVE all the talks. Saturday, the city of Show Low put on a Easter Hunt. I took the kids and they had so much fun. When you first walk in you sign your name and all your kids name on a ticket. At the end they have drawings. Well of course my friend Mindy, her daughter Tanaka's name got drawn for a trampoline, and it was a nice one too. LUCKY DUCKS!!!!! (they already have a trampoline so now they will just have two.) But we had a great day! Here are a few silly pictures of what was going on in March.
