I am sitting here bored at my parents house. Everyone is gone at church. I hadn't planned on being here on Sunday so I didn't bring any church clothes. I guess even if I had, I still wouldn't have gone. You see this pregnancy is not going so well. Let's start from the beginning. When I found out I was pregnant, I had a little mornging sickness. As each new day came, it slowly started to get worse. Thanksgiving weekend, my baby girls 2nd birthday party, I actually missed it. I had been throwing up all the previous day and all that day. So my sweet mother in law took me to the urgent care (not sure why this is underlined and highlighted. so don't click on the link.) so Byron could stay at home with the other party guests. I received some fluids and some medication to help with the nausea and a prescription. That has seemed to help keep the nausea on a down low.
We came up to the mountains for Christmas. I was doing fine until about two hours prior to our annual Christmas Eve party. I started throwing up and couldn't stop. This went on until Saturday morning when I woke up feeling a little better. Probably because I hadn't thrown up at all during the night. So I missed a yummy Christmas Eve dinner, our yummy Christmas morning breakfast and the fun of Christmas. At least my kids still seemed to enjoy their Christmas gifts. Byron had to leave to go back to work. Yes, he had to work on Christmas Day. So he will return in a few days on his day off to come and get me. As of right now, I still can't really eat normal. I am just trying to keep liquids down right now and a few solids.
So I am pretty sure this baby is a boy. I was really sick like this when I was expecting Landen. I guess only time will tell.
Now, I dont write this for you to have pity on me. It's just one of the joys I have to go through to bring a baby to this earth. NO! It's not fun, but it will all be worth it in the end. I just hope the worst of the sickenss is behind me now.
I will post pictures of our Christmas when I get back into town later this week. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
