Yesterday, Sydney had her four month check up. She has grown so much. She now weighs 14 lbs, 55th percentile and is 25 1/2 inches long, 90th percentile. She has grown two inches in the last two months. She really is "growing like a weed." She is so much fun. While I am feeding her, she likes to put her fist in my mouth or try to grab my nose. Sometimes it takes a long time to feed her because she just wants to talk to me or smile at me.
Sydney can hold her own bottle, sorta. Landen never learned to hold a bottle until he was probably 9 months because he rarely had a bottle. But poor Sydney has a bottle quite frequently, at least one every three days or so. With the second child, you learn to leave them more often. With Landen, I never left him with someone. That is probably why he is such a HUGE mama's boy.
I can't believe she is four months old already. But she is at the fun stage. The first two months are kinda boring, but I do love to just hold them. Then they start to get their personalities and they sure do make you laugh. She is just so much fun and I love her to peices.
She has had an ear infection. That explains why she has been waking up during the night. She has been such a great sleeper since I brought her home from the hospital. She used to sleep from 9 p.m. till 5:30 a.m. usually 5 out 7 of the nights. Recently, she has been waking up two to three times at night. I was telling this to a lady I visit teach and she told me that Sydney probably had an ear infection because when her babies used to sleep through the night and then started to have frequent wakings, that more than likely they had an ear infection. So sure enough, yesterday confirmed that. So sadly we have to go back to the Dr. next week to get her shots, since she didn't get them yesterday. That is if her ear infection has cleared up by then.

Sweet girl!! & such a cutie!! I hope her ear infection clears up soon :)
She is such a dollie!!!
I know mine is the abnormal one, but it is so weird for ME to hear someone say their four month old weighed 14lbs when mine was born at 10 lbs 11oz, he just didn't give me a chance to enjoy the babiness:)! She is adorable though, and maybe when we all get better next week or so we can actually get together. (I know you don't want whatever bug my boys are passing around:)
What a cutie pie! i want to see you guys sometime. Let me know if your in town.
Oh I hate when little babies get sick. I think there should be a rule that they have to be atleast a year old before getting any sickness. WOW!! What a good baby-she sleeps so well. My Maddie didn't sleep through the night until she was eight months old.
What a cutie! She weighs almost as much as Kate who is 14 months old! It always amazes me how small Kate is compared to other kids. Anyway, I hope she feels better soon, poor little sweetie!
Love your new template!!
Sydney is so very cute!
She is so stinkin cute!! I would love to squeeze her little self! I hope she gets to feeling better soon...we are very familiar with those.
you're tagged on my blog!
She has the sweetest smile and those EYES!!! Sooo beautiful. So much like her mama! :)
What a sweet cute baby! I hope that her ear infection goes away soon! She is such a good sleeper! Whitney still wakes up at least twice a night, but I still let her sleep with me, so it's not so bad. I am not looking forward to her being in her crib and waking up. :) Would you be free to get together this week? Wednesday or Friday work for you?
Can't wait to see the little ones next week. They grow too fast while Grandma is away. Love you.
You have really cute kids Shannon
