Today, my little baby is 9 months old. I can't believe it. He is so much fun. He loves to talk. He just babbles on and on sometimes. His little personality keeps coming out more and more. He likes to stand and hold on to you and blow air on you, maybe they are his versions of kisses. He can be so sweet sometimes and so onry(spelling?) Last night we were eating dinner and I gave him a few bites of my potatoes and then they were all gone. He wanted more. When he couldn't have anymore he threw the biggest fit I have ever seen. He threw his arms up and down and screamed. It was so funny.
He is crawling now and cruising along the couch. He loves to stand and walk with us. So now that he is crawling, he can follow me around, which is good sometimes. Especially, now that I'm pregnant again. When I have to lay down, he can just crawl over to me or over to whatever he wants.
He had he well checkup today. He weighs 18 lbs 1.5 ounces. Which puts him in the 10th to 25th percentile. His height is 28 1/2 inches. 50th percentile. Since he isn't gaining very much, due to no longer being breastfed and won't take a bottle, the Dr. said I have to start feeding him rice cereal and make it with formula and add an extra scoop of formula to the cereal so he will be sure to get all of his nutrients. It isn't like I am starving him. He still eats like a pig. He eats 6-7 little containers of baby food, plus crackers, plus whatever I'm eating that he wants to eat and is able to eat. There for a while, I had to give him water in a medicine dropper. Just barely he is learning to drink out of a sippy cup. I have tried to give him formula in a sippy, but he just spits it out and continues to spit. That is funny to watch. He's like, Mom, why are you feeding me this disgusting stuff?" So I will have to continue to experiement with him to try to get him to drink more liquids.
Otherwise, we are doing well. I'm not near as sick with this baby as I was with Landen. Thank you everyone for your prayers. So now people think it is a girl. I guess we will just have to wait and see. Our insurance is going to fix our truck luckily. So hopefully it will be done by the time we go to Rocky Point at the beginning of June. And good thing they cover a rental car for 30 days. Byron is doing well. He continues to work hard all the time.

I'm glad you feel better this time! Good luck with the feeding stuff. No fun!
You should try the cups with the straws. Tyrus never liked sippy cups. After we discovered the straw cups, my sister-in-law tried it with her daughter at 6 months and she loves them. You just have to start with a normal straw pulling it out of a cup and letting them suck on the bottom. Once they get the idea to suck on it the cups with straws are an easy next step.
Sounds like your little guy is growing fast. Enjoy him every minute before the next sweetie comes. I glad you aren't as sick this time.
sometimes their personality is bigger than they are!
I am glad you posted! I have been thinking about you and wondered how you were feeling! I am glad to hear you are better than last time! Landen sounds like a fun kid! I will be coming in a few weeks and we will have to get together, maybe a longhurst get- together.
Glad you're feeling better with this baby! Hope Landen starts to eat/drink more! We like chubby babies!
you've been tagged check my blog for details.
That's such a great age, enjoy every minute, because before you know it, your "baby boy" will be 13 and holding the priesthood! (can you tell I'm sad?)
