Well our Easter was a little different this year. We didn't go to any of our families houses. Byron's family actually went to Vernon to spend Easter with his grandparents. We couldn't go up there because I didn't feel right leaving the Primary president all by herself, since the first counselor went out of town. So I fixed Easter dinner for Grandma and Jason. Jason couldn't go home because he had to speak in his ward. So I fixed a ham and potatoes with cornflakes and a salad and brownies and ice cream for dessert. Grandma really seemed to enjoy herself. Jason walked into my apartment and saw the potatoes and said, "I'm so glad you made those potatoes. I called mom earlier and was sad that she had fixed them." Byron had told me earlier in the day that he wished I hadn't invited anyone over because he wanted to just sit around and relax. I told him to get used to it, cause once we get into our house we are going to have people over a lot. I love cooking for other people and having get togethers. So that was our Easter. I'm so grateful for the Savior and his sacrifice for me. I know that only through him can we truly repent and return back to him.
Today Landen had a check up Dr. appointment to follow up on an earlier ear infection. He now weighs 17 lbs. 11 oz. and he is 28 1/4 inches long. He sure is getting tall. I can't believe he is already 8 months old. When did my baby grow up? He is learning to wave good-bye. He is babbling on and on all day. Sometimes you wish you could tell him to be quite. He doesn't crawl yet. He scoots backwards, can turn himself around, walks with us holding his hands and is trying to pull himself up. Yesterday, Grandma was wearing a necklace and she was holding Landen by the hands. He was trying to walk up her leg to get to that necklace. It was the funniest thing to watch. He is such a determined little bugger. He has the cutiest personality and keeps up laughing. WE LOVE him to death. We are so grateful for his sweet little spirit in our home.
Sherry has changed her wedding date to July 13. Yep, Friday the 13th.

I am glad you had a good Easter and Grandma had some where to go. Landon started to officially crawl on Friday and he pulled himself up today. It's all down hill from here! I'm not ready for him to be all over.
Thanks so much for inviting Grandma. She really enjoyed herself and it helped me not feel so guilty for leaving town.
You know we'll be one of your neighbors so we would like to test out your home cookin too:)
You are so funny! I love the "Get used to it." I am excited for you. It is always fun getting together with family.
YOU GO GIRL! Put your foot down now and let him know who is BOSS! JK
Thanks for having Grandma over it made me feel all warm and cozy that you were taking care of her on such a special day, family type of day.
Shannon, Thanks for asking Mom and Jason for Easter. She raved about the dinner. Sherry said my potatoes were a little dry. Sorry!
Hi Shannon,
Thank You so very much for sending the money to Bronson and Family, You, said it was not much...but it paid for a month's water bill!
I think I figured out why I'm having trouble with starting my blog...its my computer..."it" does not like Google or others like it. I'm trying to figure out what is messing with my machine. Sometimes I can't even open OutLook express for my email. I just got a new lap top with Vista operating system loaded on it. As soon as I have a few extra minutes I'm going to play around with it and see if I can blog from Vista.
Bronson is getting his "new leg" today. He is excited about it. He's one tough guy!
Are you still going to decorate your kitchen with apples? I took some pictures of my kitchen to send to you, since mine is in apples too. I'll send them to you soon.
Your baby is so cute...I love reading every one's blog and seeing all the babies.
Love, Aunt Linda
