Just A Note To Say Hi!

HI Everyone!
Well I just wanted to drop a note to say hi and hope that all of you are doing well. Byron accidentally got a virus on our computer so I am unable to send pictures until he gets that fixed. So I am using his work labtop.
Landen is growing up so fast. I will find out in two weeks what he weighs now. On my scale he weighs 17 lbs. He rolls over, tries to scoot, grabs my food, drinks from my cup, eats rice cereal every night and baby food every two days (he was eating it every night but he was getting constipated). He loves to scream out in excitment. He loves to grab my hair and pull as hard as he can. Now I know why so many new moms cut their hair short. He is so much fun and is deffinately a momma's boy. When I am holding him he will laugh and play with Byron, but when Byron holds him, he stares at me and watches my every move. Last night Byron was holding him and I was in the kitchen putting groceries away. He didn't take his eye off of me. Silly boy. We love him tons and are glad he is our little boy.
Well I was released from Visiting Teaching Supervisor to a new wonderful calling. I am actually excited about it. I was called to be the second counselor to the primary presidency. The old presidency was released because the priamary president's husband just got called to be bishop of our ward. So lots of new changes. My calling should be fun and exciting. I love kids. I substituded last Sunday for the Sunbeams class and I was telling my mom that I wouldn't mind being their teacher, (they didn't have one because the sunbeam teachers moved to Maricopa and then the new teachers at spur of the moment bought a house and moved to Maricopa also. What's up with people flocking to Maricopa.) So anyways, when a member of the bishopbric came over and said he wanted to call me to the primary I was thinking ok the sunbeams class but then he said second counselor to the presidency, my jaw dropped. What a surprise. But it should be fun.
Byron is still working all the time, including weekends on call. I don't like it, but not much I can do about it. But we are all doing well and hope all of you are too.

Fun in the snow

It snowed a little bit before we left Show Low on Thursday so we took a few pictures.

I'm a big boy!

Look at me! I can sit on the stairs all by my self!

Mom! Take it out of the box!

Landen opening presents!!

Here is Landen opening one of his presents. He liked his new toy, but he enjoyed the wrapping paper better.

Merry Christmas!

Well, I am a little late posting this but oh well. Byron and I spent Christmas with my family this year. It was lots of fun. All of my family was there this year. So that was nice and fun. Christmas Eve all of my family gets together to party. We always have either pizza or subs, but this year we had pizza and soup. Then we read Luke 2 while the neices and nephews acted it out. Then we opened up one present. We draw names in our family so that is the present we open. Christmas night was awful for me. Landen has been sick with a stuffy nose so he was up all night complaining. So I was the last to get up Christmas morning 9 o'clock. We ate our traditional breakfast - hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, orange juice (except some of us put all of that together in a tortilla with chesse and salsa.) Then we opened up presents. Then for dinner we had potatoes with cornflakes, turkey, ham, and corn. Yummy. Later that evening Anthon and Ashleigh had to leave and sadly Byron also left. Landen and I stayed until Thursday. And of course, the day we left, it snowed. So we didn't get to play in it.

Well that last post was supposed to be on my mom's blog. Some how it got messed up.

Well Shannon helped me get this started. For some reason my computer won't let me post pictures. So we will have to figure that out sometime. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. All of my kids were here for Christmas this year. It was really nice and fun. We had our traditional pizza on Christmas Eve, but no three foot subs this year, we had soup instead. Since it was Sunday we didn't order our pizza we bought them frozen from Safeway. On Christmas Day we didn't open presents until probably 11. We all got up late and ate our traditional eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns for breakfast. I hope you all had a nice Christmas!

CRANKY BABY!!!

How I hate Dr. visits for Landen. He has been so whinney. He gets shots and then is so cranky for a few days. I don't blame the poor guy. I would be cranky too if I got two shots in each leg. My legs would be sore too. The only good thing about it is that he sleeps longer. So I can relax (clean my house) or like I did yesterday take a nap. I haven't had a nap since he was probably a month old. He is now four months old. How the time sure has gone by. My little chunker weighs 15 pounds 5 ounces now and he is 25 1/4 inches long. His personality is getting to be so fun. He sure does let me know what he wants or doesn't want. He continues to adore his daddy more than mommy. When daddy is around, mommy doesn't exist except when it is time to eat. We sure do love him. It is amazing how a baby can change your whole life around. We love him to pieces.
